An antiquarian book collector unknowingly acquires a cursed, ancient tome from a stranger in a desolate Welsh inn. After trying to decipher its strange and arcane contents—written for no human eyes—he awakens its vengeful guardian: a monstrous dryad who will stop at nothing to reclaim what was never meant to leave the forest.
