Young Sam hears a voice in the night. This does not worry him but upsets the adults around: his mother worries that her recent relationship might have caused trauma. His father, separated from mum, worries he has been neglectful, but is pre-occupied with his business. The psychiatrist tries to help ... but Sam has a private place to hide away.
